Illustration for Lucid’s

48 Laws of Power

Chapter Illustrations

To better explain concepts in the book, Lucid’s book summaries are accompanied by animated illustrations. One of the challenges of the project was finding the balance between including labels with information and visually conveying ideas.

Process

For the cover artwork, I began brainstorming using the concept of a chess piece and focused on creating a relationship of power using composition.
